I am attempting to blog and now I am wondering why I decided to do this. I don't like writing. My mind goes blank when I see a blank sheet of paper or a blank screen. So, why? I need to do this! I need to learn about all these new web tools, introduce some to students and maybe get to 'know' other primary librarians.
I have been 'lurking' or reading a lot of blogs and saving them in Google Reader. Then I stopped reading because it all became so overwhelming. Over 800 items! I haven't looked at the reader lately.
I decided to only read 2 or 3 blogs, but I can get soo distracted! I will see a blog listed at the side and I will jump from one blog to another if it looks the least bit interesting.
My favorite blogs to read are by Cathy Jo Nelson, Tamara Cox and Free Tech for Teachers.
Maybe if I do the 23 things I will be more focused and become a contributor instead of a lurker!
